On May 16, Lin Weiwen, a first-level researcher from the Zhaoqing Municipal People's Government Office, and Kong Lingju, director of the Zhaoqing Municipal Commerce Bureau, led a team to conduct foreign-trade research in Huaiji County. The team visited Huaiji Junming Bamboo Продукция Co., Ltd. and Meirui (Guangdong) Audio Equipment Co., Ltd.
At Huaiji Junming, the research team inspected tea-stem bamboo processing on site and held discussions with major business operators. The purpose was to understand local tea-stem bamboo planting and production, as well as the difficulties and issues faced by export-oriented companies.
The team noted that tea-stem bamboo is one of Huaiji's distinctive agricultural products with a long history. Huaiji County has already basically formed a production and business distribution base for tea-stem bamboo products.
The Zhaoqing Municipal Commerce Bureau said it would assist the Huaiji County government in promoting the construction of a tea-stem bamboo distribution hub. The goal is to build a market that integrates planting, processing and trade.
The research team also asked Huaiji's commerce authorities and relevant departments of the municipal commerce bureau to strengthen communication with market supervision departments, Customs and other units. The aim is to help bamboo businesses address issues related to export inspection, inspection declaration, the use of geographical indication standards and participation in exhibitions for market expansion.
The same research trip also included a visit to Meirui (Guangdong) Audio Equipment Co., Ltd., where the team learned about product upgrading, export markets and domestic-foreign trade integration. The report said the broader goal was to help companies solve practical problems and support business growth.
